Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Todd – AI Music Insight ("Todd", "the Service"). By accessing or using Todd, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use Todd. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You retain ownership of the annotations, comments, mood tags, and other content you create ("User Content"). By posting User Content on Todd, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content within the Service for the purpose of operating and improving Todd.
User Content must not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights. Lyric annotations must be your own original commentary — do not reproduce full copyrighted lyrics as annotations. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.
If you believe that content on Todd infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA notice to [email protected] with the information required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
The Lyric Card feature generates visual cards from song lyrics for personal, non-commercial sharing. You are responsible for ensuring your use of lyric excerpts complies with applicable copyright law. Todd generates cards containing short lyric excerpts under principles of fair use / fair dealing for commentary and personal expression; however, we make no legal guarantee regarding the copyright status of any specific lyrics. You assume all responsibility for content you share externally.
Todd is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta Platforms. The Instagram sharing feature uses a standard deep link; Todd does not access your Instagram account or post on your behalf.
Todd offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
Todd uses AI to generate lyric annotations, song insights, mood analysis, and lyric card meaning snippets. This content is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or reflect biases in the underlying models. AI-generated content is provided for entertainment and personal exploration purposes only and should not be relied upon as factual analysis. We are not responsible for errors in AI-generated content.
All software, design, trademarks, and non-user-generated content in Todd are owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without our written permission. Song metadata, album art, and lyrics displayed in Todd are the property of their respective rights holders and are displayed under applicable licences or fair use principles.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app and updating the effective date. Continued use of Todd after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
